    I think it is 'internal organs also exert pressure on us', because it says 'it' pushes from inside (of ourselves). It is apparently hinting about something inside our body. It's all about logics instead of physics LOL.

    To add, the forces acting on the body due to pushing among internal organs are negligible as such internal forces are usually weak, so in Newtonian mechanics, internal forces are omitted and he derives the formula F=ma based on the assumption that there is no internal force acting on the body.
