Please translate from japanese
ニコニコ食べ物の日なのかな フォローしている方の中で ニコニコドーナツ アップした方もいましたよ
Does this mean: what a smiley day! The people that I have been following are uploading photos of smiley donuts .
I don't really get the usage of 方 here. Please explain if it isn't too troublesome .
Please help me to translate the following too : I see...I guess it's great to start the week with a smile? I hope you have a great week ahead! (しょかなぁ...........)

The japanese should be something like this.
After the food day in NicoNico, (いましたよ) we have followers(フォローしている方) who up!(like)(アップ) NicoNico donuts.

Nico Nico = ニコニコ
Food = 食べ物
Day = の日
In = のかな
some ppl in the follow = フォローしている方の中で
Follow = フォロー
Nico Nico donuts = ニコニコドーナツ
Up! = アップ
ppl = 方
have = いましたよ

This is wrong
In = のかな
It should something like this
After = なのかな

It's Nico Nico food day? Among the people I'm following there were even people uploading Nico Nico donuts.
かな is something meaning the person is not sure about it or he or she is thinking. Is there such an expression in English?idk it is more related to the tone but not so much about meaning.
なのis some connectives to form a sentence in terms of grammar so dont have to bother it.
方(かた）here means people/person. It's a more polite expression of 人.
So I guess you dont have to talk about smile in your reply. Nico Nico the name of a website for japanese to post videos, like Youtube. Though ニコニコ really means smile in Japanese, I think the person is talking about the website here.
So you can reply:
meaning " I see... its great to see cute food... have a nice day!
but im not sure is it weird to think that seeing cute food is great?idk maybe you come up another reply?
