Jane Eyre is a tough girl that she grows up without parents' love, or even support of her family, or even the family which takes charge of her grow-up, the Reeds. All she has is the power of knowledge that she learns in school, and the way she overcome obstacles, that forms a hardness in her inner personality. However, she is still gentle to others, like her friend, Helen, and also her lover, Mr Rochester and his daughter, Adèle. She is compassionate to others' pain, because she has a miserable childhood herself, too. She has her power to change her life, but she never does anything for money or vanity. She loves Mr Rochester, even though she confirms he has a wife later on. After he gets blind and poor, she never forget their love, even though she gets rich that time. Her experience is stunning that I have learnt much from this book, especially her. Money can promote somebody's class in the society, but only love is all we pursue, no matter we are with wealth or without wealth. We can pursue love, but we should make ourselves strong enough to love others and sacrifice many perspectives first.
