You can test your ftp user name and password for that ftp site in Windows command prompt first to make sure that the connect is fine. The syntax is...

1. Click Start

2. Click Run

3. type cmd in the field

4. Click OK or press enter

When you see Windows command prompt, enter syntax...

ftp <your ftp site address>, ENTER

enter your user name

enter password

If you do not see any error, that mean you have no problem access to the ftp site.

If you do, find out if the ftp site wrong, or if your account incorrect.
