HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity is a relatively new school near Munsang College. From its name, we also aware its course framwork is designed for students to develop their creative potential in Arts / Music / Drama, etc, and also to acquire necessary knowledge ( Chin / Eng / Maths / LS, etc ) for furture study.
In NSS, its main emphasize is to acquire appreciation on 4 areas of creative studies which are:
1) Multimedia Performing Arts
2) Film and Digital Arts
3) Design and Visual Communication
4) Environmental and Spatial Studies
with 4 core subjects as mentioned. You can take as most as 2x as electives from IS, Hist, Chin Hist or Chin Lit ( you can opt not to select any x and it accepts! ). These are your strengths.
From its design, you can find it is largely different from the normal secondary schools. You know, basically it is impossible to apply U without any "x", but here it used 4 own designed creative courses to demonstrate the strong creativity of students in various areas which enables their entry into some university degree programmes / IVY diploma courses involving multimedia, music, journalism, drama, archetecture, design, fashion, etc. In other words, once you select this school, you should not consider those BA, Social Science, Pure Sci / Arts or Engineering Faculties ( see the figure below ).
If you are interested in Fine Arts or related fields, you would definitely enjoy its environment and find it easier to handle.
Your former results can be ignored if you could prove you are Arts students ( with potential in VA ) and Science subjects were selected wrongly last year. Once you could convince them, everything is fine.
If you have some recommendation letters, for sure they help for better chance of interview. Then it depends on your performance whether they will offer you a place.
