Hahatse 說："we will be toasted的意思是：直譯：我們將會被祝酒，但這譯法當然不太好，若意譯則為：人們將會為我們舉酒祝杯".
ivmeonly 認為應該解 [我們就會完蛋」，其實只差了少少。
如果是 "toast", 不是 "toasted"，就可以解 [完蛋]。
e.g. "That candidate we rejected yesterday turns out to be the president's son. If the president takes offence, we will be toast."

[toast] 用作動詞時，可以解 (1) 烤 (2)舉柸致敬 / 祝贺 ； 用作名詞時，可以解 (1)烤了的一片方塊麵包 (2) 舉柸致敬這個動作 (3) 惹了很大麻煩的人。
由於 [we will be toasted] 這句中的 toasted 是動詞，又不會是[我們被火烤]，所以只可以解 [我們被舉柸致敬 / 祝贺 ]。資料來源： myself

Correct me if I am wrong. I guess if it is not related to toasting somebody, as heard in a TV documentary, then it may be related to the following expression.
be toast = being in trouble because of something you have done.
That is " We will be toast."meaning we will be in trouble.
