vote with our feet.......

vote with our feet

點解

when faced with stress , we vote with our feet .

(from BBC)

    其實:英文諺語中有vote with your feet

    Cambridge Dictionary online

    vote with your feet

If you vote with your feet, you leave an organization or stop supporting, using or buying something, and change to a new organization, service, or product:

e.g.When the price of skiing in the mountain resorts doubled, tourists voted with their feet and just stopped going.

vote with your feet:to show what you think about sth by going or not going somewhere

e.g. Shopper voted with their feet and avoided the store.

    Vote with your feet無疑直譯可譯為:用腳投票;

    但其意思就是指:人不去某處表示其反對、不滿某些事情

    或去某處表示支持,贊成某些事情

    因你的句子沒有上下文,所以不能最準確譯其意思,但估計,文章是指,當我們面對人要求我們做某些事的壓力之下,我們會離開以表示我們的不滿,不願意

    希望幫到你!
