Division of labour

Q:Mr Lee is an English teacher who owns a small tutorial school in a commercial building. He works alone with no other employee to help him.

He told others that there was no division of labor going on in his school. Do you agree with what he said?Explain.

This is economics homework!!!Please give explanation to the answer.

    I agree.

    Defintion:

    Division of labour means a job in divide into different parts,each part have the workers to finish the job. Each part have their relationship since it is followed step by step. For example, in toy industry, worker will make the doll's head first, and pass to the next worker to make the hair.... There are group of worker engage in the job in order to finish one job. Adv: faster to finish the job since practise make perfect.

    Since Mr Lee is self-empolyed, he need to do everything, eg being the tutors, make notes materials, clean the floor, be the receptionist..... His jobs doesn't have any relationship, differernt jobs have not divide into process....

    Therefore, Mr Lee is right.
