Changing of medical profession to medical admin job

I am a medical profession...allied health...but if I want to change my career path from professional to medical admin job...could I study any course (e.g. MBA in health care) to pursue my goal? Is there any job opportunities for such course as MBA in health care??

    I think it would be better ti study a course with master of science instead of MBA .

    Here is a course I want to introduce to you :

    Master of science in management in health care service (Hong Kong Polytechnic University)

    Master of Science in Management (Health Services Management) Sept 2007 Entry

    管理學理學碩士學位(醫療服務管理) Programme Code: 26001

    課程簡介

    Programme Aims

    We cater for ambitious employees in the health care sector who wish to develop their management skills and enhance their career opportunities. This is a conversion programme, designed primarily for graduates in disciplines other than management. However, candidates with prior management or business education may be admitted, depending on their career needs.

    The programme provides students with the needed foundation in the main functional areas of management, along with in-depth training in health services management.

    It provides:

    theoretical and practical knowledge relevant to practising managers in the private and public sectors;

    essential techniques and generic skills required for managerial effectiveness;

    a framework for advancing managerial competencies;

    development of students' ability to contribute effectively in a cross-functional, team environment; and

    opportunities to enhance knowledge by conducting independent investigations into specific management problems.

    I hope you find it useful .
