The glasses are cold before he gets out of an air-conditioned car. However, when he gets out, the water vapour in the surrounding condense on the surface of the cold glasses. Thus the glasses get misted-up.
The glasses are cold compare with the temperature inside the steamy bathroom. When the cold glasses get contact with the steam, the steam condense on the cold surface on the glasses and thus the glasses get misted-up.
The food in a refrigerator is cooled by vaporization of the refrigerating liquid.
Condensation can not absorb energy. Instead, it can release energy to a certain object to condense.
