Jacqueline is in the business of editing computer software. She calculated the fixed ovehead costs to be $50.00 per day.

(a) If she charges $75.00 per hour, how many hours must she work per monthe to break-even

(b) In a year, she made a profit of $65 000.00. How many hours of editing does that represent to the nearest one?

    Let the number of hour she need to work in a month be x.

    Income

    = $75(x)

    Outcome

    = $50(30)

    So the equation is

    $75(x) = $50(30)
